Has it been 1 year already?

It has been almost 1 year since I have taken a chance and followed my dreams! What has this year brought? First and foremost, it has brought such gratitude and appreciation. Everything that this last year has presented is because I am surrounded by such a strong sense of community, Love and support! My success has everything to do with all of you!

I remember thinking back to the moments leading up to my ribbon cutting. I was so nervous to fail. Will they show up? Will they be receptive? The ribbon cutting was the start to very obvious community support. You all showed up alright! Sheila Mannese headed the most beautiful ribbon cutting. With my husband by my side, my boys looking at me with such pride, and my entire family/friends standing beside me, we all listened to such heartwarming speeches. Tommy Corcoran's speech will stay with me forever! A community that took the time out of their day to support me! All the while, all I could think was, "wow, I did it! I took that first step. No going back. If all of these people believe in little ole me, well then, I am ALL IN"! Owning your own business is not always easy! I constantly struggle with the balance between being a store owner, Mom, Wife and daughter. In general, a gift shop can be tough. There are so many big corporations that mass produce and sell. How can I stand out? How can I keep the community interested and wanting to come back? First and foremost, I will tell you that I focus on my prices! I was a single Mom for many years. With that, came financial struggles. I am not embarrassed (now) to say I was THAT MOM you saw in the grocery store having to put back the wants over the needs! I did without, so my children did not have to! I know how it felt to walk into a store, kids in tow, walking out not being able to afford a single thing inside! I worked very hard to get to where I am today, although I will never forget where I have been! My low prices are a reflection of just that! I take such pride in hearing my customers appreciation and surprise when seeing my prices. You can walk into my store and find something for $0.50! You can find great toys for just a few dollars! Beautiful home decor, collectible gifts, jewelry, clothing, skin care and even Gozney Pizza ovens and accessories! I try to have something for everyone, with new items being stocked weekly. You can come shopping one week, and the following week come back to see new items and gift ideas. I will continue to make my store a place that feels like home. A place where you want to keep coming back to! Thank you all for being so understanding as I struggled with business hours and taking care of my Mama and trying to make memories with my children this summer!

I want to give back to my community and thank each and every one of you. So, on Sunday November 12, 2023 10am-4pm, I will be hosting a 1-year Anniversary party! I will have vendors, food, prizes, giveaways, raffles, sales, free family photo opt, free kids crafts and a fun family event open to the entire community! Hello again

Well hello again! I know it’s been awhile, but it seems these days that one day rolls into another way too quick! Like most other families, mine is no different adjusting to the “new norm.” Tax season

This year has been so many things for so many people! In just a few hours we will be walking into the year 2021. Some of us, without our loved ones. All, with a whole new way of life. Through it all,
